Merry Christmas from the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Team!!
Everyone on the SSGEP team would like to wish a very happy festive season to everyone who has followed and supported the project and of course to the four translocated Eagles facing another winter in the Southern Uplands.
We are looking to take on 2 part-time Stakeholder Engagement Officers. This will help further the work of developing good relationships between different stakeholders across the south-west and south-east of Scotland. The focus will be on building relationships between landowners, gamekeepers, farmers and forestry working to inform, reassure and advise on how best to accommodate Golden Eagles on their land.
