Roxy the Golden Eagle children's book
Written by John Miles with illustrations by John Davis, Roxy the Golden Eagle is a beautifully written children’s story based on the famous Roxy, a real golden eagle from the Scottish Borders.
Suitable for younger children and a wonderful book to be shared amongst families, Roxy tells the story of a golden eagle from a chick in the nest to an adult soaring the skies above the south of Scotland. Learn of the challenges these eagles face, their habits and habitats and how the powerful symbol of the golden eagle features across the world. You can check out more of John’s nature books for children on his website - Chick Books | Reconnecting Children With Nature.
Copies of Roxy are available for a £5 donation plus a small post and packaging fee. Please get in touch with us via our contact page to order - Contact the South of Scotland Golden Eagle Project (goldeneaglessouthofscotland.co.uk).
